“We had heard many horror stories from friends and neighbors about their pool projects. Wishing to avoid our own horror story, we carefully reviewed all the available resources available regarding over a dozen local, regional and national pool companies. We narrowed the list down to 3 we felt would be good choices and then contacted them to arrange for an initial discussion and estimate. All three came out for an on site meeting and we discussed our ideas and goals. They all left indicating they would get back to us in a short period with a proposal. One came back with a proposal totally different then our discussions. One never contacted us again. And then there was West Coast Pools. Aaron Bryant made several subsequent visits to measure everything, discuss his ideas, listen to ours and came back with a proposal that met our needs and desires. Throughout the process, Aaron honestly discussed the “extras”, classifying items that should be a must, those that would be good to consider, and those that were not really necessary. We decided to award our project to West Coast Pools. After finalizing all the details, Aaron turned the project over to Jay Robertson. The entire process went very smoothly. Jay would always contact us to let us know where we were, what was coming next and when it was going to happen. Whenever there was even the smallest issue, Jay was already aware of it and would be working to get it resolved before I would contact him. He worked closely with us to ensure everything was the way we wanted, making suggestions along the way about small items that ultimately made big improvements in the final outcome. It was very clear that his first goal was to satisfy the customer and deliver a quality product. Our project was completed during the Winter of 2005/2006, during which Mother Nature delivered torrential downpours, flooding many areas in Northern California. Jay stayed on top of all aspects of our ongoing project, making sure that it was completed as rapidly as possible, without compromising quality. We now have a beautiful pool and spa in our backyard retreat that we can’t wait to enjoy. Although we have been able to take advantage of the wonderful spa (very relaxing!!) it is still Winter and just a little too cold to dive into the pool! We needed to make some special setup for our remote control and Nick came multiple times to make all appropriate adjustments so that we got it to work the way we needed.
